Daredevil showrunner answers fans questions on Twitter; defends Ben Affleck

January 11, 2015 by Gavin Logan

Last week it was revealed that Netflix’ upcoming and highly anticipated series of Daredevil will land on April 10th. Apart from a few still images and some vague plot details we still don’t really know what to expect.

Now the showrunner for Daredevil, Steven S. DeKnight – who has previously worked on Angel, Smallville, Dollhouse and Spartacus: Gods of the Arena – has been answering fans questions via his official Twitter account and while most of what he said is short and a little ambiguous he does weigh in on certain aspects of the show including how much blood we’ll see, what the music score will be like, the possibility of an Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D crossover and if there’s a connection with The Avengers.

Oh and he also defends Ben Affleck’s version of Matt Murdoch saying: “Ben got a bad rap, in my opinion.” and then replied “Truth” when a fan suggested that Affleck wasn’t the problem with the original movie.

Check some of the Q&A tweets below:

So who is excited to see the Man Without Fear on the small screen?
