With Daredevil set to arrive on Netflix a week from today, IGN caught up with star Vincent D’Onofrio to ask him whether he’d like to see his character Wilson Fisk, a.k.a. The Kingpin, going up against the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.
“That would be super-cool, yeah. To be able to kick Spider-Man’s butt would be awesome. But we just don’t know about those things. Those are all the Marvel secrets that they never tell us until they need us, so… Yeah, I would do it. I would do it in a second.”
Of course, with Spider-Man set to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe (likely in next year’s Captain America: Civil War), there’s now every chance that we could get to see the wall-crawler going up against The Kingpin one day…
