DC Comics is set to celebrate eight decades of galactic peacekeeping with the release of Green Lantern 80th Anniversary 100-Page Super Spectacular, an oversized one-shot comic released exactly eighty years after Alan Scott made his debut as the first Green Lantern in All-American Comics #16 in May 1940.
The Green Lantern 80th Anniversary 100-Page Super Spectacular will include tales of the DC’s universe’s most legendary Green Lanterns – Alan Scott, Hal Jordan, John Stewart, Guy Gardner, Kyle Rayner, Jessica Cruz and Simon Baz – with contributions from an all-star line-up of creators that includes Geoff Johns, Darryl Banks, Charlotte Fullerton McDuffie, Sina Grace, Mike Grell, Jeff Lemire, Ron Marz, Denny O’Neil, Fernando Pasarin, Ivan Reis, Rafa Sandoval, Mariko Tamaki, Peter J. Tomasi, James Tynion IV, and Robert Venditti.
