Demi Moore replaces Sharon Stone in Corporate Animals

June 14, 2018 by Gary Collinson

Last month it was announced that Sharon Stone (Basic Instinct) would be starring in the new comedy Corporate Animals, and now Deadline is reporting that Stone has had to bow out of the project due to scheduling issues, with Demi Moore (Forsaken) signing on as her replacement.

Corporate Animals is being directed by Patrick Brice (Creep) from a script by Sam Bain (Four Lions) and will see Moore portraying Lucy, “the egotistical CEO of Incredible Edible Cutlery, America’s premier provider of edible cutlery. She orders her staff to attend a corporate team-building caving weekend in New Mexico, and disaster strikes suddenly, trapping them all underground. All the elements of team building adversity are there, as the group struggles to survive amidst sexual tension, startling business revelations and casual cannibalism.”

Filming on Corporate Animals is set to get underway in New Mexico this week, with a cast that also includes Ed Helms, Jessica Williams, Karan Soni, Isiah Whitlock Jr., Calum Worthy, Dan Bakkedahl, Martha Kelly, Jennifer Kim, and Nasim Pedrad.
