With the D23 Expo getting underway in Anaheim, California today, Disney has offered a first glimpse of its upcoming Star Wars theme park lands, showcasing an enormous model of the hotly-anticipated attraction, which is sure to get fans giddy with excitement for its opening in 2019. “To say we are excited for the Star Wars-themed lands to open in 2019 is an understatement,” said Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Chairman Bob Chapek. “All along, we have said this will be game-changing, and through the model we can begin to see how truly epic these immersive new worlds will be.”
More information on the Star Wars theme park lands will be unveiled this Saturday during the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Hall D23 Presentation.
