Doc Ock attacks in new Spider-Man: No Way Home images

October 29, 2021 by Gary Collinson

We got a glimpse of the returning Alfred Molina as Dr. Otto Octavius in the first trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home, and now some new images for the Sony and Marvel sequel have landed online which offer a detailed look at the returning Spider-Man 2 villain complete with updated (Iron Man-influenced?) tentacles which – as you can see – are causing some trouble for Tom Holland’s web-slinger. Check them out here along with a shot of Spidey and MJ (Zendaya)…

Now, might we also get a peek at Jamie Foxx’s Electro (or any of the movie’s other rumoured villains, including Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin and – according to comments in the latest edition of Empire Magazine – Thomas Haden Church’s Sandman and Rhys Ifans’ Lizard) before the film opens this December, or would you rather Marvel and Sony look to keep the rest of No Way Home’s surprises under wraps? Let us know on our social channels @FlickeringMyth…

For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a Super Hero. When he asks for help from Doctor Strange the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man.

Spider-Man: No Way Home sees Jon Watts (Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home) directing Tom Holland (Spider-Man), Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange), Zendaya (MJ), Marisa Tomei (Aunt May), Jacob Batalon (Ned Leeds), Tony Revolori (Flash Thompson), Jamie Foxx (Electro) and Alfred Molina (Doctor Octopus).

Spider-Man: No Way Home arrives in cinemas on December 17th.
