The Super Bowl is taking place over in the States tonight, and so that means we can expect a sneak peek at some of the year’s most anticipated film and TV offerings and first up is Disney and Marvel Studios with a brand new trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness!
Without spoiling the trailer (or the rumours that the trailer essentially confirm), there’s lots to look out for in this jam-packed preview, including the tease of a major franchise-hopping cameo and more variants than the Time Variance Authority can shake their Time Sticks at; see for yourself below along with the Super Bowl spot featuring some alternate footage…
In Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the MCU unlocks the Multiverse and pushes its boundaries further than ever before. Journey into the unknown with Doctor Strange, who, with the help of mystical allies both old and new, traverses the mind-bending and dangerous alternate realities of the Multiverse to confront a mysterious new adversary.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is directed by Sam Raimi and stars Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange), Benedict Wong (Wong), Rachel McAdams (Christine Palmer), Chiwetel Ejiofor (Mordo), (Nicodemus West) and Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch) as well as MCU newcomer Xochitl Gomez (The Baby-Sitters Club) as America Chavez.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is set for release on May 6th 2022.
