Dylan Dog television series in the works, watch the pilot here

May 9, 2017 by Jordan Jones

If you really strain to think, you just may recall Dylan Dog: Dead of Night, starring Brandon Routh, releasing in theaters way back in 2011. Maybe. I use the word ‘strain’ because the movie had very little marketing, and horrible reviews. The movie performed so poorly, in fact, that Platinum Studios hopeful franchise promptly went down the drain, along with Routh’s career for some time (thankfully, you can currently see him back in the world of DC Comics on the CW’s Legends of Tomorrow).

Now, out of the blue it seems, there is a Dylan Dog television series in the works, and you can view the pilot – entitled “Dream of the Living Dead” – in its entirety right now…

The pilot was made by Austrian filmmaker Kevin Kopacka, and he is seeking support from fans to make the project happen. Visit the project’s official website for more details on how you can see this pilot turned into a full-length series.

Dylan Dog is a best-selling Italian comic book series focusing on the titular character: “Nightmare Investigator” Dylan Dog. Based in London, the detective investigates the paranormal, all the while fighting demons and otherworldly creatures.
