Eat like a Monster Hunter with Capcom this January at the Monster Hunter Meat Shack

January 8, 2018 by Villordsutch

To celebrate the upcoming release of Capcom’s Monster Hunter: World on the 26th January, Capcom are opening up – come the end of January – at the Flat Iron Square in London, the Monster Hunter Meat Shack.  Here you’ll be able to share meat platters or epic burgers served from a humongous meat spit and best of all…it’s completely free!

This feast experience mirrors that of the game, where players hunt giant and ferocious creatures before carving them up to create their armour gear or cook their findings on a BBQ to restore their health. Diners will be able to wash their hearty meals down with a complimentary drink, as well as getting hands-on with a demo of Monster Hunter: World, with in-built gaming consoles at each table.

Additionally, for fans of the game, there is a giant head of the iconic dragon-like creature – Rathalos (otherwise known as ‘King of the Skies’) outside, and the walls will be adorned with maps and memorabilia, sure to transport diners into the mythical world of Monster Hunter. A market-stall will also form part of the experience, so guests can take home their own little piece of this very big new world.

The Monster Hunter Meat Shack is open to anyone over the age of 16, from Thursday 25th – Sunday 28th January at London’s Flat Iron Square.

Opening times are as follows:

Thursday 25th and Friday 26th January – 12:00 – 21:00

Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th January – 12:00 – 22:15

Entry and dining is free and tickets are available via Eventbrite: https://monsterhunterbbq.eventbrite.co.uk

Laura Skelly, Senior PR Manager for Capcom added: “Going back to work in January can be a gloomy time for everyone so what better way to eat away the January blues than a free dining experience which celebrates all things monster-sized? From the giant Rathalos head, to the super-sized meat platters, we hope the Monster Hunter Meat Shack is a hit with fans of the game both new and old immersing all its guests deep into the world of Monster Hunter.”

Monster Hunter: World is planned for release on PS4 and Xbox One on 26th January 2018. A PC release will follow at a later date. For more information on the game, please visit www.monsterhunterworld.com.
