February 5, 2026 by Matt Rodgers

NBC Peacock has dropped the trailer for The Miniature Wife, their dramedy series that sees Elizabeth Banks (The Hunger Games) accidently downsizing at the hands of her scientist husband, played by Matthew MacFadyen (Pride & Prejudice).

This case of Honey I Shrunk My Wife was created by Jennifer Ames and Steve Turner (Boardwalk Empire), with multiple episodes directed by Greg Mottola (Superbad). As well as Banks and MacFadyen The Miniature Wife also stars O-T Fagbenle, Zoe Lister-Jones, Sian Clifford, and Sofia Rosinsky, with recurring cast members that include Ronny Chieng, Aasif Mandvi, Rong Fu, and Tricia Black. Check out the trailer below…

The Miniature Wife, based on the short story written by Manuel Gonzales, is a dramedy series examining the power (im)balances between spouses after a technological accident induces the ultimate relationship crisis.

The Miniature Wife hits the small screen when it streams on Peacock in the US and Sky TV in the UK from April 9th.
