After Emily in Paris premiered its fifth season last month, Netflix has renewed the romcom series for a sixth season.
After taking place in Paris for most of the series, season five saw Emily move to Rome as she opened and ran Agence Grateau’s Italian office. The season ended with some cliffhangers for the company as it was saved financially with a new investing partner while Emily broke off her relationship and moved back to Paris.
Meanwhile Mindy, Emily’s best friend played by Ashley Park, accepted a marriage proposal from her ex-boyfriend and broke up with her current romance, realizing at the last minute she does not want to be engaged to her ex. The season ends with a tease for the next possible location in the series as Emily’s ex Gabriel, upon learning of her break up, invites her to stay with him in Greece during her time off.

Tackling conflict with honesty, Emily emerges with deeper connections, renewed clarity, and a readiness to embrace new possibilities.
