Evangeline Lilly to headline mystery drama Albedo

May 5, 2019 by Gary Collinson

Following her exploits in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Hope Van Dyne, a.k.a. The Wasp, former Lost star Evangeline Lilly is returning to the small screen for the eight-episode mystery drama series Albedo from Entertainment One and Bell Media.

Taking place 150 years into the future, Albedo sees Lilly playing Detective Vivien Coleman, who is “dispatched to the edge of our solar system to investigate a scientist’s mysterious death on board an isolated space station. She soon finds herself trapped and cut-off from Earth, along with the station’s small crew of brilliant scientists – all murder suspects – all harboring their own secrets… What begins as a classic murder mystery evolves into a fight for survival that may threaten the future of our species.”

Brad Peyton (Rampage) is directing the series and will executive produce alongside Lilly and creators and writers Max and Adam Reid (Sneaky Pete). It will air on Bell Media platforms in Canada, with VOD service Vudu distributing in the U.S. – marking the streamer’s first foray into original content.
