The Tracking Board is reporting that a hot new spec script entitled Princesses is being shopped to prospective studios in Hollywood, having been pitched as “a female-driven Avengers featuring classic fairy tale princesses.”
The script has been penned by Nir Paniry (Extracted) and is being sent to all buyers simultaneously; should Disney make a bid, the studio has reported tapped Joachim Ronning (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales) to direct.
Details on the script are being kept under wraps, and it is not known which princesses are involved in the story, although it is said it is likely that they are iconic characters popularised by Disney, but in the public domain.
