The Flash’s Firestorm and Heat Wave costumes revealed at TCA

January 11, 2015 by James Garcia

The Winter Television Critics Association tour has dominated the TV news cycle the last few days, and now it’s the CW’s turn to take the stage and discuss some of their popular shows. Outside of the panel there are several costumes on display, including those for Firestorm (Robbie Amell) and Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell), which we have yet to see in live action on The Flash. Check those out here..

Obviously, they look quite a bit different than their comic book counterparts; Firestorm’s costume in particular would be hard to adapt in live action, and this toned-down version pays homage to the original design while being quite a bit more grounded. There’s a very good chance that this isn’t the only costume he’ll wear on the series – the CW is known for developing its heroes slowly, which includes the costumes (remember all those red jackets Clark wore on Smallville?).

Tell us, what do you think of the new costumes? Would you rather see something closer to the originals from the comics? Sound off in the comments below!
