Fox is set to merge British mythology with police procedural, with The Hollywood Reporter revealing that the network is teaming up with The Jackal Group for a modern reimagining of King Arthur entitled Camelot.
The series takes place in present-day Manhattan, and follows “a graffiti artist named Art must team with his best friend Lance and his ex, Gwen — an idealistic cop — in order to realize his destiny and fight back against the evil forces that threaten the city.”
Camelot has been created by Dan Frey and Ru Sommer (Saint Patrick), who will write the script and executive produce alongside Gail Berman and Joe Earley of The Jackal Group.
