Good news for Gotham fans, as Fox has officially confirmed that it has renewed the Batman prequel series for a fourth season.
As EW reports, Gotham had been expected to receive a renewal, despite the fact that the current third season is averaging just 4.6 million viewers and a 1.6 rating in the key 18-49 demo. Those numbers aren’t particularly huge, but are above several of the network’s other shows such as The Exorcist, Scream Queens and APB.
In addition to Gotham, Fox has also renewed the comedy series The Last Man on Earth, although the axe has fallen on Rosewood and Sleepy Hollow.
