Frank Grillo joins Sylvester Stallone in Tulsa King season 2

April 6, 2024 by Gary Collinson

Frank Grillo is heading to Oklahoma with the actor signing on to star alongside Sylvester Stallone in the second season of Taylor Sheridan’s crime drama series Tulsa King.

Grillo – best known for his roles in The Purge franchise as the MCU – is set to take on the role of Bill Bevilaqua, a Kansas City mobster with interests in Tulsa – interests that will presumably see him clashing with Sly’s mob boss Dwight ‘The General’ Manfredi.

Along with Grillo and the returning Stallone, the second season of Tulsa King will star Andrea Savage, Martin Starr, Max Casella, Domenick Lombardozzi, Vincent Piazza, Jay Will, Annabella Sciorra, Tatiana Zappardino, with Garrett Hedlund and Dana Delany.

Filming on the second season of Tulsa King is underway now, with Craig Zisk serving as producing director and executive producer alongside Sheridan, Stallone and Terence Winter. It is slated to premiere on Paramount+ late this year.
