Crystal Lake had added a new camper to its series. The Friday the 13th prequel has added William Catlett to its cast.
Catlett will star as Levon Brooks, though details on the role are being kept under wraps. He joins the previously cast series lead Linda Cardellini, who will play Pamela Voorhees.
Little is known about the slasher-based show, but it’s reported that it will focus on Voorhees’ life before the events of the first Friday the 13th film. Fans of the horror franchise just celebrated the 45th anniversary of the 1980 original, which spawned multiple sequels and made its hockey mask killer, Jason Voorhees, a household name.
Brad Caleb Kane serves as creator, writer, showrunner, and executive producer on Crystal Lake. Original Friday the 13th writer Victor Miller is attached as executive producer. Also connected to the project are Marc Toberoff, Robert M. Barsamian, Robert P. Barsamian, and Stuart Manashil. The show was initially picked up straight to series at Peacock in 2022.
