Gal Gadot encourages audiences to see Wonder Woman 1984 in cinemas if it’s safe

December 3, 2020 by Samuel Brace

Gal Gadot, the star of Wonder Woman 1984, wants fans to see the movie in cinemas if they can do so safely.

The upcoming release of Warner Bros. Wonder Woman 1984 is an odd one. Due to the pandemic, the film is coming out in cinemas and on HBO Max simulatenosuly.

Of course, nothing will beat seeing the film on the big screen and star Gal Gadot is encouraging fans to do so if they can find a safe cinema.

In a video on her Instagram, she said: “Hey guys, I’m so excited the movie is finally coming out, and to be able to share its beautiful message with you guys, with the world, during these crazy times, just means a lot to me. I’ve been waiting to share this movie with you guys for such a long time. I know the cinemas are doing all they can in order to keep you safe and in order to give you the full movie experience. So, if you have a cinema-safe theatre around you, tickets are available now. So please go get your tickets, watch this movie, watch Wonder Woman 1984 and enjoy a special cinema night. I can’t wait to hear what you think.”

It will be interesting to see what kind of numbers the film does. Hopefully, it does very well as cinemas around the world could certainly do with the revenue right now.

Wonder Woman 1984 reunites Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins with stars Gal Gadot (Diana Prince), Chris Pine (Steve Trevor), Ewen Bremner (Charlie), Said Taghmaoui (Sameer), Connie Nielsen (Queen Hippolyta), Robin Wright (General Antiope), Lisa Loven Kongsli (Menalippe), Doutzen Kroes (Venelia) and new additions Kristen Wiig (Ghostbusters) as Barbara Ann Minerva/Cheetah, Pedro Pascal (Game of Thrones) as Maxwell Lord, and Natasha Rothwell (Love, Simon), Ravi Patel (Master of None) and Gabriella Wilde (Doctor Who) in as-yet-unrevealed roles.
