Gears of War: Reloaded coming to Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC

The original Gears of War is making its return, and this time its going multi-platform as Microsoft has announced that a fully remastered version of the Xbox 360 classic is coming this August with Gears of War: Reloaded on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and Steam.

Described as “a celebration of one of gaming’s most iconic franchises”, Gears of War: Reloaded will present a remastered version of the original game and all downloadable content from 2015’s Ultimate Edition, with 4K resolution, 60 FPS in campaign and 120 FPS in multiplayer, and cross-play across all platforms.

Gamers who have already purchased the digital version of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition prior to the announcement will receive a free upgrade when Reloaded arrives on August 26th, while the game will also be available day one for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members.
