Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: The High Republic is set to get underway in the New Year, and Marvel has today unveiled a first look at one of the comic book components of the publishing initiative, which takes place in a brand new era some 200 years prior to the events of Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace.

Star Wars: The High Republic will now launch on January 5th 2021 with the release of Charles Soule’s Star Wars: The High Republic: Light of the Jedi and Justina Ireland’s Star Wars: The High Republic: A Test of Courage, followed by Claudia Gray’s Star Wars: The High Republic: Into the Dark on February 2nd 2021. New launch dates for Marvel’s Star Wars: The High Republic and IDW’s Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures comic books will be revealed at a later date.
