Coming hot on the heels of Marvel’s announcement about a new Lando Calrissian miniseries is the news that Greg Rucka (Cyclops) and Marco Checchetto (Avengers World) are to take us a step further on the journey to Star Wars: The Force Awakens with Shattered Empire, the upcoming series that will offer a glimpse into Disney’s hotly-anticipated sequel.
“The world has been wondering what happened after the fall of the Empire since the credits first rolled on Return of the Jedi in 1983,” says series editor Jordan D. White. “Now, on the dawn of the next chapter of the saga, we’re incredibly proud to be involved in revealing the events that happen immediately following the end of ‘Return of the Jedi’!”
Star Wars: Journey to The Force Awakens – Shattered Empire #1 will go on sale in September.
