Guy Ritchie lines up Henry Cavill, Jake Gyllenhaal and Eiza González for his next action movie

May 6, 2023 by Matt Rodgers

Guy Ritchie must have turned to the recent contacts menu of his cell phone when casting his latest action film, with the news that Henry Cavill, Jake Gyllenhaal and Eiza González are all lined up to reunite with the director.

According to Deadline Ritchie’s next film will be a big-budget action-movie which is said to be laced with his trademark humour, will revolve around two extraction specialists who must plan an escape path for a high-level female negotiator.

Filling those roles will be recent collaborators Jake Gyllenhaal, who starred in Ritchie’s critically-acclaimed The Covenant (read our ★★★★ here), Henry Cavill, who teamed with the director on the underrated The Man From U.N.C.L.E., as well as the recently wrapped WWII movie The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, which also features Eiza González, who’s probably best known for her role in Ambulance.
