Ahead of tonight’s premiere, Comic Book has revealed that Henry Czerny (Revenge) is set to play Winslow Schott – a.k.a. Toyman – in CBS’ Supergirl series.
The official character description from Warner Bros. reads: “Winslow Schott, Sr. is a classic D.C. supervillain, a mad criminal genius known as Toyman – and Winn’s estranged father. Toyman weaponizes toys to wreak destruction and revenge but is ultimately driven by one thing – the obsessive desire to reunite with his beloved son.”
Winslow Schott made his first appearance as a Superman villain way back in Action Comics #64 in 1943.
Supergirl premieres on CBS tonight.
