Holt McCallany joins Gerard Butler in Angel Has Fallen

January 11, 2018 by Gary Collinson

Deadline is reporting that Mindhunter star Holt McCallany has joined Gerard Butler and Morgan Freeman in the upcoming action threequel Angel Has Fallen.

According to the site, McCallany is set for a leading role as Wade Jennings, a close friend of Butler’s Secret Service agent Mike Banning, and an ex-military man who now heads up a technology company. However, he’ll be playing more than one side. Morgan Freeman also reprises the role of Vice President Allan Trumbull, although Aaron Eckhart will not be back as President Benjamin Asher.
