It’s official: Han Solo won’t be in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

July 28, 2016 by admin

It has been rumoured for some time (though it never seemed likely) that Alden Ehrenreich’s Han Solo could feature in the first Star Wars spin off movie Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Well, we can now finally put that rumour to rest.

“I’m not sure I’m allowed to do this but I think I should. I can put to bed, Han Solo is not in the movie,” director Gareth Edwards told Extra TV.

Well, that’s that then. Unless of course he’s lying…

ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY, is the first film in the new standalone movies from Lucasfilm. It tells the story of how a group of unlikely heroes unite to undertake a daring and seemingly impossible mission to steal the plans for the Death Star.
