Jamie Dornan joins Rosamund Pike in A Private War

Fifty Shades of Grey star Jamie Dornan has signed on to join Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl) in the cast of the Marie Colvin biopic A Private War, Variety has revealed.

The film, which is being directed by Matthew Heineman’s (Cartel Land), tells the story of American war journalist Colvin (Pike), and explores Colvin’s assignments in conflict zones such as Chechnya, Kosovo, Sierra Leone, Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka. She was killed during a rocket attack in Syria in 2012.

Dornan will next be seen in the final chapter of the Fifty Shades trilogy, Fifty Shades Freed, which is set for release this coming Valentine’s Day. He also stars alongside Peter Dinklage in the upcoming HBO movie My Dinner With Herve, and plays Will Scarlet in Robin Hood: Origins.
