Jared Leto teasing his return as The Joker?

January 19, 2017 by Samuel Brace

Suicide Squad might not have landed with the bang that many had hoped in terms of critical acclaim; it was panned by critics, but that didn’t stop fans from flocking to the cinema, and it hasn’t stopped fans from thinking about the DCEU’s future.

Jared Leto clearly has his mind focused on such thoughts as he took to Snapchat on Wednesday afternoon to tease his fans with photos suggesting The Joker could be coming back.

The second photo he posted was slightly more nebulous but perhaps a reference to Joker’s previously bashed in teeth – leading to his new gold grill that he has sported thus far.

Does it mean anything? Who knows. It might just be Leto being playful but perhaps it’s a tease of things to come, after all, if the DCEU is continuing, surely The Joker will have a part to play again – perhaps in The Batman, or alongside Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn in Gotham City Sirens?
