Joe Manganiello joins The Kill Room with Uma Thurman and Samuel L. Jackson

April 23, 2022 by Ricky Church

Joe Manganiello (True Blood) has joined Uma Thurman (Kill Bill) and Samuel L. Jackson (The Hitman’s Bodyguard) in the cast of the dark comedy thriller The Kill Room.

The Kill Room follows “a hitman (Manganiello), his boss (Jackson) and an art dealer (Thurman) whose money-laundering scheme accidentally turns the hitman into an overnight avant-garde sensation, forcing Thurman’s character to play the art world against the underworld.”

The Kill Room is written by Jonathan Jacobson and will be directed by Nicol Paone (Friendsgiving). Yale Entertainment’s Great Escape will handle international distribution and sales at the Cannes market. Paone and Thurman will produce with Dannielle Thomas and Jason Weinberg for Untitled Entertainment.

Producing for Yale is Jordan Yale Levine, Jordan Beckerman and Jon Keeyes. Also producing is Anne Clements of Idiot Savant Pictures and William Rosenfeld of Such Content.
