Johnny English 3 gets a September release date

January 3, 2018 by Ricky Church

It looks like one of the world’s most famous British spies is heading back to screen this year. No, its not James Bond, but rather Johnny English!

Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bean) will return for Johnny English 3, to be directed by David Keer and starring former Bond girl Olga Kurylenko (Quantum of Solace), and it has been announced today that Johnny English 3 will be released on September 20th, 2018.

The first Johnny English was released in 2003 with the script written by Bond writers Neil Purvis and Robert Wade. It followed Atkinson’s foolish MI-7 spy Johnny English and his attempts to save England and the world. The sequel, Johnny English Reborn, was released in 2011 and matched the first film’s global box office, grossing $160 million.

No word yet on who else will join the film aside from Ben Miller, who will reprise the role of Bough, but check back here at Flickering Myth for more details as they become available.
