Jonah Hill and Michael Cera join Adult Swim’s Shivering Truth

May 18, 2017 by Samuel Brace

Actors Jonah Hill and Michael Cera have joined the Adult Swim pilot Shivering Truth.

The two Superbad actors will be voicing characters for the new stop-motion pilot which is written and created by South Park’s Vernon Chatman. Chatman will also be lending his voice to the project along with Starlee Kine.

The show is billed as a dark and surreal anthology comedy and “a miniature propulsive omnibus clusterbomb of painfully riotous daymares all dripping with the orange goo of dream logic.”

The series will be directed by Chatman and Cat Solen, and the pilot will be executive produced by PFFR and Solen, with the animation studio Shadow Machine also on board.

Shivering Truth is the latest series to be added to Adult Swim’s slate of programming which also includes projects from Tyler, The Creator, Jena Friedman, Derrick Beckles, and Eric Andre.

Details on the characters Cera and Hill will be voicing are currently unannounced.
