Julia Garner to star in Universal and Blumhouse’s Wolf Man

January 6, 2024 by Matt Rodgers

Here’s something worth howling about; Ozark‘s Julia Garner is set to headline Blumhouse and Universal’s Wolf Man.

Leigh Whannell’s reimagining of Universal’s classic monster movie might have lost Ryan Gosling in the titular role, but according to Deadline it has now gained a three time Emmy Award winner and Golden Globe Winner in Julia Garner.

The Royal Hotel star will headline the movie alongside Poor Things and Possessor’s Christopher Abbott, who replaced Gosling as the hirsute beast.

The Invisible Man‘s Leigh Whannell will direct from a script he has written along with Corbett Tuck, Lauren Schuker Blum, and Rebecca Angelo. Jason Blum is producing the film. The movie is scheduled for release on Friday, October 25, 2024

Next up for Garner is rumoured Rosemary’s Baby prequel Apartment 7A, which is scheduled for release sometime in 2024.
