Lana Condor to play Jubilee in X-Men: Apocalypse

It looks like we can add another mutant to the ever-expanding roster of X-Men: Apocalypse, with Bryan Singer taking to Instagram to reveal that newcomer Lana Condor will play the character Jubilation Lee, a.k.a. Jubilee…

Jubilee has previously made cameo appearances in the original three X-Men movies, with Katrina Florece portraying her in X-Men and Kea-Wong appearing in X2: X-Men United and X-Men: The Last Stand, while she was also considered for a part in X-Men: Days of Future Past [check out some concept art here].

X-Men: Apocalypse is set for release on May 19th, 2016 and stars X-Men veterans James McAvoy (Professor X), Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Evan Peters (Quicksilver) and Rose Byrne (Moira MacTaggert) alongside Oscar Isaac (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) as Apocalypse, Sophie Turner (Game of Thrones) as Jean Grey, Tye Sheridan (Mud) as Cyclops, Alexandra Shipp (House of Anubis) as Storm, Kodi Smit-McPhee (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes) as Nightcrawler and Lana Condor as Jubilee.
