Laura Haddock joins Transformers: The Last Knight

With production on Transformers: The Last Knight now well underway, British actress Laura Haddock has revealed on Twitter that she has signed on to appear in the fifth instalment of the Michael Bay-helmed franchise. Haddock, whose credits include The Inbetweeners Movie, Da Vinci’s Demons and Guardians of the Galaxy, posted the following video, sharing her excitement over the opportunity to appear alongside Optimus Prime.

Transformers: The Last Knight reunites Michael Bay with Transformers: Age of Extinction star Mark Wahlberg, while Josh Duhamel is also reprising his role as Lieutenant Colonel William Lennox from the first three movies and Peter Cullen will once again voice Autobot leader Optimus Prime. New additions to the cast include Isabela Moner (100 Things to Do Before High School), Jerrod Carmichael (Bad Neighbours), Laura Haddock (Guardians of the Galaxy) and Anthony Hopkins (Thor: The Dark World).
