Liam Neeson rules out a fourth Taken movie

December 20, 2016 by Gary Collinson

Fans of the Taken franchise hoping to see Liam Neeson’s Bryan Mills putting his very particular set of skills to use again will likely be disappointed to hear that the Irish actor has ruled out the possibility of a fourth entry in the series.

Appearing on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to promote his new movie A Monster Calls, Neeson was asked whether there are any plans for Taken 4.

“No, there’s not,” Neeson responded. “There’s only so many times your daughter can be taken. Actually if we do have another it will be, ‘Please can you take my daughter’?”

Fear not though Taken fans, as NBC is set to launch its prequel TV series this February, with Vikings star Clive Standen taking on the role of Bryan Mills. Watch the trailer here.
