Looking forward to Game of Thrones season six

April 5, 2016 by admin

One of the biggest TV hits of recent years is undoubtedly the fantasy epic Game of Thrones. In just over five years the series has come from nowhere to become an award-winning franchise capable of engrossing its fans with its complex storylines, as well as being a hit with the critics thanks to its huge scope and credible characterization.

The Game of Thrones series looks to enjoy its biggest year yet when HBO unveil the sixth season in Canada on April 24th. And such is the anticipation around the series that there’s already been a great deal of teasing trailers, mysterious rumours and even some online games receiving some enhanced promotions as a result of the wonder that this series attracts.

Already HBO’s showrunners have proclaimed season six to be the best yet, but with public anticipation reaching fever pitch, the internet is awash with rumours regarding what will happen next.

The biggest question is undoubtedly regarding the fate of Jon Snow. The last episode of season five was left on a pivotal moment with the character left dying in the snow after a stab wound. But with reports of the actor Kit Harington being spotted at a script read-through in Belfast, it suggests that this popular character could be making an unlikely comeback.

However, season six looks to be one of the most unpredictable yet as it will be the first season that isn’t based on a pre-existing George R. R. Martin book. The fantasy author has struggled to finish his upcoming The Winds Of Winter release, and with expectation growing amongst eager fans, it falls to the TV series and array of games to keep them entertained.

Thankfully the series has enjoyed great success on a variety of gaming platforms with PS4 fans receiving an immersive Game of Thrones release in 2014, and Royal Vegas Casino have even engineered their own online slots game based upon the popular fantasy series.

It’s a clear indication of the series success that a Game of Thrones slot game would feature on the the site alongside other iconic brands that have been made into slots games such as Jurassic Park, The Dark Knight Rises and Terminator 2.

But seeing as Royal Vegas Casino offer many promotions to keep mobile players coming back, the addition of such instantly-recognizable fantasy motifs are expected to make this the go-to site for Game of Thrones fans waiting until the sixth season drops.

And with an endless stream of Game of Thrones merchandise starting to surface, it looks like season six could be one of the biggest TV hits yet.
