Luke Evans joins Gemma Arterton and Bill Nighy in StarDog and TurboCat

Screen Daily is reporting that Luke Evans (Beauty and the Beast) has been cast alongside Gemma Arterton (The Escape) and Bill Nighy (The Limehouse Golem) in the voice cast of the animated superhero adventure StarDog and TurboCat.

The film is being written and directed by first time feature filmmaker Ben Smith, and follows “loyal canine buddy and feline vigilante Felix on an animated superhero adventure about friendship, heroism and finding your way back home”.

StarDog and TurboCat is currently in production, with UK animated company Red Star 3D producing along with Kaleidoscope Film Distribution, Head Gear Films and Screen Yorkshire. Production is expected to complete by August 2019.
