M. Night Shyamalan teases his next movie

February 7, 2017 by Samuel Brace

Fresh off the success of his latest film, Split, M. Night Shyamalan is staying on the comeback train in fine style. And now it looks as if Split, at least in some form, will be receiving a sequel. A pretty big spoiler follows. You have been warned…

Speaking on Twitter on Sunday, the maverick director has said that he already has an outline for the potential film but remained coy as to exactly what it contains and how it connects to Split.

I have an 11 page outline for my next film in my bag. I can't tell you what it is, but If you've seen #Split…

— M. Night Shyamalan (@MNightShyamalan) February 4, 2017

Split, which is the tale of a man with multiple personalities, has been doing very well for Shyamalan at the box office and returning him close to the stature he once enjoyed during his heyday with such films as The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable.

A number of weeks ago, Shyamalan mentioned that an Unbreakable sequel would be his next movie, and given the ending of Split – which sees Bruce Willis reprising the role of David Dunn – it wouldn’t be too much of a stretch to assume these projects are one and the same.
