Magibot coming to Steam in December

November 28, 2017 by Villordsutch

Arriving on Steam in mid-December from French Indie Developers, Studio Baikin is Magibot.  A rather fantastic looking 2D strategic-platformer, in which you find yourself guiding ILO – a small magical robot – with nothing more than magical elements at your disposal.

A little robot wakes up alone in the middle of a forest, wearing a wizard hat and a book placed beside him. Where does he come from? What is his mission? The only clues given to the player are a book written in an unknown language and a map hidden in the cover of the book.  The hero starts his journey following the map direction. Throughout the game, the player will pick up bonuses that will help him to decrypt the book and learn new magical skills. During his odyssey, the player will discover a planet covered by a rugged and wild nature: abundant forests, vertiginous snowy peaks, desolate deserts… He will also encounter mysterious masked beings (humanoid and animal forms) that will do everything to capture the robot.

Features:

  • New kind of experience combining 2D plat-former, puzzle and strategic games.
  • An unique game-play in 2 steps. Set in place “Magic Blocks” and take control of the robot
  • Follow the adventures of a little robot wizard. When magic meets technology.
  • Hand-drawn and animated visual art.
  • More then 60 levels.

Magibot will be available to purchase on Steam come the 18th December 2017.
