Mahershala Ali shares Blade artwork on Instagram

May 19, 2020 by Matt Rodgers

Fans of the MCU should have been deep into multiple re-watches of Black Widow by now, but with that release bumped to October for obvious reasons, they’re having to make do with snippets of news about the next phase of superhero cinema.

Stepping from the shadows to provide them with a glimmer of hope is the new Blade, Mahershala Ali, who was announced as the Daywalker during the last San Diego Comic-Con, and has now posted a picture on his Instagram of a piece of fan art depicting him as the titular Vampire.

Exactly what it is we’re unsure of – concept art, fan art – but with it being endorsed by the actor himself, it’s worth getting excited about, especially considering we’re still a long way off seeing Blade, which is likely to be pushed even further into the distance by the current release date merry-go-round.

What do you think of the look? Let us know in the comments below or tweet us @flickeringmyth…
