Dentsu Entertainment USA is pairing up with Man of Action Entertainment for a 26-episode animated series based upon Capcom’s Mega Man franchise, Deadline has revealed.
The show will be created, written and executive produced by Man of Action, whose credits include Ben 10, Ultimate Spider-Man and Avengers Assemble, with a view to being aired in 2017, marking the 30th anniversary of the popular video game series.
In addition to countless games, Mega Man has previously spawned two animated TV shows, as well as the spinoffs Mega Man NT Warrior and Mega Man Star Force.
