This is Us star Mandy Moore will star alongside comedian Nate Bargatze in TriStar’s upcoming romcom The Breadwinner from director Eric Appel (Weird: The Al Yankovic Project).
The Breadwinner will see Bargatze and Moore as parents to a trio of daughters. When Moore’s Katie “lands a deal on Shark Tank. Subsequently, the lifelong breadwinner of the family becomes a stay-at-home dad and quickly realizes he’s in way over his head.”
Starring as the daughters are Stella Grace Fitzgerald (Rebel Moon), Birdie Borria (The Fabelmans) and Charlotte Ann Tucker (Thunderbolts*).
The film will mark Bargatze’s feature film acting debut from a script he wrote with Dan Lagana.
