Marvel Future Fight gets a Black Widow movie-themed update

April 23, 2020 by Gary Collinson

The movie may have been pushed back until November due to the global health crisis, but Marvel fans can now get their hands on some Black Widow content in the hit mobile game Marvel Future Fight with an update inspired by the MCU blockbuster adding all new characters, gameplay improvements, uniforms and more.

Two new characters – Yelena Belova and Red Guardian (played by Florence Pugh and David Harbour in the movie) – have officially stepped in to join the fight to save the universe and both are now available for players to collect as are movie themed uniforms for Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow and the mysterious villain Taskmaster.

The update also includes a new Black Widow-themed Legendary Battle, the introduction of the Future Pass system, new Dimensional Mission stages, and various skill and feature upgrades to the likes of Black Widow, Yelena Belova, Red Guardian, Daredevil, Mockingbird and Agent 13.

Check out the new update trailer here:

Marvel Future Fight is available worldwide via the App Store and Google Play, and the Black Widow themed update is live now.

Black Widow is being directed by Cate Shortland (Lore) and sees Scarlett Johansson reprising her role as Natasha Romanoff alongside Florence Pugh (Fighting With My Family) as Yelena Belova, O-T Fagbenle (The Handmaid’s Tale) as Mason, David Harbour (Stranger Things) as Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian, Rachel Weisz (The Favourite) as Melina Vostokoff/Iron Maiden, and Ray Winstone (Sexy Beast) and Olivier Richters (The King’s Man) in as-yet-unrevealed roles. It is set for release on November 6th, 2020.
