Marvel’s Agatha: Coven of Chaos adds Ali Ahn and Maria Dizzia to the MCU

November 4, 2022 by Ricky Church

The casting news keeps coming for the MCU’s Agatha: Coven of Chaos as Deadline reports Ali Ahn (Raising Dion) and Maria Dizzia (The Staircase) are the latest to join the Marvel Studios series.

There is no word on who either actress will play as Marvel is keeping details tightly under wraps as usual.

The duo join Kathryn Hahn, who made her MCU debut in WandaVision as the fan-favourite witch Agatha Harkness as well as newly added Joe Locke (Heartstopper) who is being rumoured to play Wiccan. Emma Caulfield will also reprise her WandaVision role as Dottie while Aubrey Plaza (Parks and Recreation) was announced yesterday to have joined the series.

Jac Schaefer, the original head writer and executive producer for WandaVision, will return to those roles for Agatha: Coven of Chaos along with the recently announced Vision Quest spinoff.

Agatha: Coven of Chaos is set to air on Disney+ in 2023 as part of Phase Five of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
