Marvel’s Kevin Feige says the Inhumans movie could happen in Phase Four

November 5, 2016 by Gary Collinson

Although Phase Three of the Marvel Cinematic Universe was originally scheduled to end with an Inhumans movie, Marvel Studios made the decision to pull the project from its slate back in April, stating that the addition of Ant-Man and the Wasp and Spider-Man: Homecoming had shifted their priorities.

Previous rumours had suggested that it was actually Marvel Television who was pressing for an Inhumans movie (seeing as the Inhumans are now a big part of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), and that the feature film side was never overly keen on the idea, and wanted to scrap it entirely.

Well, with the project now seemingly in limbo, Slash Film asked Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige if he could ever see it moving ahead, and his response certainly offers a glimmer of hope to fans who want to see Black Bolt and company on the big screen:

“I think Inhumans will happen for sure,” said Feige. “I don’t know when. I think it’s happening on television. And I think as we get into Phase Four as I’ve always said, it could happen as a movie. I think it would be super cool.”

Are you excited about the prospect of the Inhumans movie being revived? Do you think we’ll see it as part of Phase Four? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below…
