Lionsgate has released a behind-the-scenes trailer for their forthcoming Michael Jackson biopic, Michael, which sees Antoine Fuqua (Training Day) directing what’s being labelled as an origin story for the controversial King of Pop.
This new video focuses heavily on Jaafar Jackson, nephew to the late icon, who has the unenviable task of embodying his famous uncle, but if this is anything to go by, coupled with the praise from Fuqua and producer Graham King, his performance could be one of the standouts in 2026.
Starring alongside Jaafar in Michael are Nia Long, Laura Harrier, Juliano Krue Valdi, with Miles Teller, and Colman Domingo. Check-check out the trailer below…
