THR is reporting that Michelle Yeoh has signed on to appear alongside her Crazy Rich Asians co-star Henry Golding and Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones) in Last Christmas, an upcoming rom-com from director Paul Feig (Ghostbusters, A Simple Favor).

Written by Emma Thompson and Bryony Kimmings and set to feature the music of the late George Michael, the film sees Clarke playing Kate, “an elf in a year-round Christmas shop, who begins dating Tom (Golding), a guy who seems too good to be true when he walks into her life and starts to see through so many of her barriers.”

Michelle Yeoh returns as Emperor Georgiou this January for the second season of Star Trek: Discovery, and has also recently been announced as headlining her own spinoff TV series. She will next be seen on the big screen in Joe Carnahan’s action thriller Boss Level, which is set for release in August 2019.
