Millie Bobby Brown is “really excited” for first movie role in Godzilla: King of Monsters

January 30, 2017 by Robert Kojder

Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Browns is incredibly game for the transition between television and blockbuster cinema for her role in Godzilla: King of Monsters.

During the red carpet before the SAG Awards she told ET “I just had a really incredible connection with the director. I had a great meeting with him and you know, I just really love him. It’s my first movie. I’m really excited and that’s really all I can say, but it’s going to be great!”

Michael Dougherty (Krampus) is currently writing the script for Godzilla: King of Monsters with Zach Shields, with Dougherty also handling directing duties. The plot is being kept under wraps, but it has been hinted audiences will see more classic monsters from the older Godzilla films like Mothra and Rodan. The sequel will also lay the groundwork for 2020’s Godzilla vs. Kong.

Godzilla: King of Monsters hits theaters March 22nd, 2019 while the next MonsterVerse instalment, Kong: Skull Island, opens  on March 10th, 2017.
