G.I. Joe: Classified Series line adds Mutt & Junkyard, Metal-Head, Clutch and the VAMP

October 30, 2023 by Gary Collinson

Hasbro has announced three upcoming additions to its six inch G.I. Joe: Classified Series line as the Joes expand their ranks with Mutt & Junkyard and Clutch and the VAMP, while Metal-Head reinforces Destro’s Iron Grenadiers; check out the digital renders and promotional images for the upcoming releases, which are available for pre-order from Hasbro Pulse from October 31st…

G.I. JOE CLASSIFIED SERIES #113 – MUTT & JUNKYARD

G.I. Joe is a highly skilled, on-demand, special operations force of men and women from around the globe tasked with defending the world from Cobra, a ruthless criminal organization bent on total domination. Wherever there’s trouble, G.I. Joe is there. New to the G.I. Joe Classified Series line, Mutt & Junkyard come ready for adventure, with multiple points of articulation for high poseability.

This Mutt & Junkyard figure & pet contains 16 character-inspired accessory pieces including night stick, helmet, goggles, knife, face mask, 6 alternate hands with command gestures, weapon accessories, and an alternate “good boy” head. Mutt is a natural with animals. He likes them and they like him. The problem is that he gets along better with dogs than he does with humans. “If you’re sitting next to Mutt in the mess hall, don’t try filching anything from his tray-he’ll bite your leg off!”

G.I. JOE CLASSIFIED SERIES #118 – IRON GRENADIER METAL-HEAD

New to the G.I. Joe Classified Series line, Iron Grenadier Metal-Head comes ready for adventure, with multiple points of articulation for high poseability. This Metal-Head Deluxe figure is jam-packed with 28 character-inspired accessory pieces including backpack missile racks, “hip-swivel” holster tubes, 6 missiles with blast effects, alternate hair, helmet, knife, and weapon accessories.

Metal-Head is a walking anti-tank weapon serving Destro’s Iron Grenadiers. He can launch high-explosive missiles and visually guide them to their objectives. “The real targeting computer is his brain, and it doesn’t have an ‘off’ switch. This guy is so wrapped-up with his work that even when he sits down for dinner, he’s locking onto the mashed potatoes.”

G.I. JOE CLASSIFIED SERIES #112 CLUTCH WITH VAMP (MULTI-PURPOSE ATTACK VEHICLE)

New to the G.I. Joe Classified Series line, Clutch with VAMP (Multi-Purpose Attack Vehicle) comes ready for adventure, with multiple points of articulation for high poseability.

This Clutch figure contains 5 character-inspired accessory pieces including 2 helmets, wrench, and 2 weapon accessories. The VAMP is bursting with accessories and details including a fire axe, extinguisher, 2 fuel cans, side mirror, tow hook, and cannon. Clutch was a mechanic at Manny’s Mean Machines and was heavily involved in racing street machines prior to enlistment. “He greases his hair with motor oil, rarely shaves, and chews on the same toothpick for months.”
