Netflix has been creating more and more original content over the last few months. The end of 2014 saw the show Marco Polo air on the streaming service and it has now been announced that the show has been renewed for a second season.
The second season will run for 10 episodes and will go into production later this year. Marco Polo is produced by The Weinstein Company and Electus and stars Lorenzo Richelmy as Marco Polo alongside a cast that also includes Benedict Wong, Joan Chen, Zhu Zhu, Chin Han, Olivia Cheng, Tom Wu, Remy Hii, Uli Latukefu, Mahesh Jadu, Claudia Kim and Rick Yune.
Marco Polo is just one of the original series created by Netflix. Other original shows on Netflix include House of Cards, Hemlock Grove, Orange Is the New Black and BoJack Horseman.
